 gel Manicure

My gel manicures are structured.

Meaning an apex (or bump/body) is formed down the center of the nail using the base gel.

Doing so creates more form, body and strength.  Making the manicure last longer than your 'run of the mill' gel manicures.

Gel manicures take approximately 45 minutes to complete. This includes removal of your old polish & is without any nail art.

*When you book for a gel manicure please specify whether you'd like nail art.  Nail art is an additional charge & it takes more time to complete.

Old gel polish is filed off using an electric file.  I never soak off gel polish with pure acetone.

Pure acetone dries out the cuticles, nails and surrounding skin.  This causes more hangnails, dryness, irritation & the keratin layer of the nail to become stripped over time & keratin is what gel products adhere to.  If you've been soaking your polish off, this is the reason why you've noticed your polish chips faster and separates from your nail sooner than it used to.

Gel full sets
&
Gel fills

Gel Full Sets

I use forms to follow the natural curve of your nail & extend the length.  This method of sculpting a nail prevents that uncomfortable tightness and soreness you would have with a plastic tip.

Gel full sets take approximately 1 hour and a half to complete.  This is without any nail art.

* This service does NOT include removal of old gel.  If you have old product to be removed specify this at the time of booking as it will take additional time.

Nails are lengthened & balanced, expertly filed into shape & polish is applied.

Gel Fills

Gel fills take approximately 1 hour to complete.  This is without any nail art.  A fill includes up to 2 nail repairs (nails that are broken & need to be built out).  Additional repairs are $5ea.(limit 4)  If you are missing more than 4 nails you must book for a full set.

This service includes removal of old polish.  Nails are trimmed and shaped, filled & rebalanced with new product.  Then expertly filed into shape & new polish is applied.

* I do not guarantee lasting power of fills over someone else's product.  Not all products are created equal; please understand some products do not adhere to each other.

*Nail art may be added to these services upon request at the time of booking.

You will be left with a very thin layer of product still on your nail.  It's not healthy to file all the way down to your nail.  This thin layer will peel off over time.
